payday!

My Weather Today

Ahhhh, I just got paid. $500 some dollars. Not bad, but not as good as the first paycheck. My next one should be good, with the overtime I accrued this week. Hope so, at least!

Purse is still a work in progress...got a strap for that's stronger than the last one. Hand-sewed it on this morning after a trip to Wal*Mart. Got a little wallet thingie for it so I don't have loose change all over the place. It's hard to dig out of the bottom of that purse. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to get a latch on the darn thing. I wonder if I could just glue (super glue, heavy duty glue...something) something onto it because I just don't want to drill more holes in it since the felt's already been glued in...I learned that's no fun over the weekend.

Had a bunch of people comment on it today, too, so I told them how my dad and I made it, and they thought it was pretty cool. It's a good conversation starter, for sure.

I think Ashley's kitty likes me more than Ashley...Delilah spends a lot of time on my bed snuggled with me.

Oh, it was so cute. The vet's office gave her a Pet Report Card when Mom picked her up yesterday. On the comments area, it said, "Such a good little girl, very fun, very talkative!" She is a very vocal little cat. Never heard a cat talk that much before. I guess they had a lot of fun with her before the put her under for the surgery. She is really playful and curious about EVERYTHING. And I just can't dislike her anymore now that she's got stitches and is all weak. Hah, I'm a terrible person...
